Further to the recent assessment board meeting, a decision for you to retake one or more of your previously failed modules has been established. This means that you will need to register for the module(s) in question at the next scheduled start date and at the regular module price.
It is important to keep in mind that you are required to undertake the mentioned retake(s) at the first available opportunity. Failure to do so, or failure to contact the retakes team in regards to this matter, shall result in your progression on the programme being subject to review by the Awarding Body.
You will notice in your SIS student portal (transcripts section) that a code of 'PR' has been added for any modules which are required to be retaken. This enables you to register for your second attempt at the module(s). Retakes of multiple modules must be taken consecutively, one by one. If you are required to retake more than one module, you are required to include confirmation of the order you will follow in your response to the retake team (retakes@unicaf.org), so that further information on the relevant start dates can be confirmed for you.
In order to be allowed entry into the retake, you must have sufficient balance in your account to cover the cost of the module in question. If, at this stage, you have completed all payments in your payment plan, you may have to wait for the retake installment to be added to your payment plan before being able to top up your account. In the event that the mentioned retake installment has not been added in the coming 3-5 working days and you are, therefore, not able to make your payment, please do not hesitate to contact retakes@unicf.org.
It remains the responsibility of the student to ensure their entry into the first available offer for their retake and all appropriate action should be taken to ensure this is the case.
If you are experiencing extenuating circumstances, that can be supported by evidence, which is causing difficulty in adhering to the above requirements you are required to get in touch with the retakes team (retakes@unicaf.org) in the first instance for further assistance, including detailed information of your circumstances.

For further information on the cost and start date associated with your retake(s), as well as confirmation of the module(s) you need to retake, please contact retakes@unicaf.org, including your SIS student ID number as a reference. Kindly keep in mind the following:

1. All retakes are capped at 50%.
2. It is your responsibility to inform your module instructor that you are a retake student once your retake module started.

Following a decision by the Board you have been allocated to resit for a failed module. Further information will be sent to all students with an RR code.
