RATIONALE
This is an essential module for the foundation course, as it introduces the Business and Management field of studies. It will enable students to meet and comprehend basic concepts of business and management, such as leadership, strategy and organisational structure and behaviour and, therefore, equip students with the skills required for successfully attending a Bachelor's in Business Management.
AIMS
The main aim of this module is to help students to comprehend the below managerial concepts:
- Business Functions (including human resources management, operations, marketing and finance)
- Leadership
- Organisational Structure and Behaviour
- Introduction to Strategy
LEARNING OUTCOMES
On successful completion of this module, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate knowledge of business and management's basic concepts and principles;
